La Víspera, set in a green Andean Valley on the outskirts of the typical colonial village of Samaipata, is a Real Organic Farm Retreat with hundreds of indigenous trees, flower gardens and terraces. In our gardens we grow a grand variety of vegetables, fruits and aromatic herbs; in the Herbalario we process them into medicinal mixtures, herbal teas, seasoning, massage oils, tinctures, jams, nectars & mousses. Finca La Víspera gives shelter to some 90 bird species, and mammals like: deer, fox, porcupine, badger, skunk, iguanas, guinea pig. We have happy dogs to hug and horses to ride. We give a hearty welcome to those travellers, writers, hikers, who yearn for silence and nature and to those who wish for an extended stay with us. The total capacity of the comfortable guesthouses is 25; the camping site accommodates about 14 tents, and is supplied with an equipped kitchen, bathrooms, hot showers, barbecue, deck chairs and hammocks. Our Garden Cafe offers all day breakfasts, a variety of bread from the traditional clay oven, yoghurt with muesli and fresh fruits, herbal teas, cappuccino, soups, specialities like rhubarb- mango- and loquat pancakes, spinach tartlet, grand salads, quinua pie, veggy omelettes & wraps, chocolate cake and real scones with clotted cream - all fresh from our gardens!
